The “Plus” world crosses over to the road. With the Speed 25+ Fulcrum redefines the concepts of precision and lightness.

Following in the footsteps of the Red Zone Carbon+, the Speed 25 now take on the plus moniker, indicating the pinnacle of Fulcrum’s range, becoming the lightest low profile option for disc brakes ever produced. Inspired on the Racing Light XLR, the Speed 25+ are the perfect choice both for steep alpine climbs and for long distances, thanks to the safe and precise ride feel that only low profile wheels can provide.Compared to the Speed 25 the weight has been dropped down to 1270 grams and they integrate the best Fulcrum technologies, for an astounding set of wheels in terms of lightness and handling, without compromising reliability (ASTM 1 – System weight limit: 120kg).

The rim is made using the proprietary FF100 resin mix, with a DIMF (Direct In-mold Matte Finish) matte finish. The graphics are updated and feature the new Form Function Fulcrum scheme, with new gunmetal-colored metallic graphics, which combined with the laser workmanship communicate all the research into technique and style that underpins Fulcrum products.

The rim is 26 mm high, with a 21 mm hooked internal channel. The wheels are native tubeless thanks to the non-perforated bridge, which guarantees maximum resistance thanks to the continuity of the carbon fibers.

As for the hub, CULT TM (Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology) ceramic bearings with Cup & Cone system are used, which offers better sliding and a longer life of the component thanks to the fact that the forces deriving from the spokes are perfectly aligned with those in play on the bearing. Smoothness is also maximized thanks to the ceramic treatment on all surfaces in contact during sliding.

The freewheel body is also completely new: with Speed ​​25+ a new lightweight version is introduced that allows for further reduction of friction in play, thanks to the use of USB TM ceramic bearings inside the freewheel body itself. The new lightweight freewheel body is available in the XDr, N3W and HG versions. 

The result of this recipe and the use of these technologies is Speed ​​25+: an extraordinary wheel, which guarantees versatility, the maximum expression of lightness, reactivity and smoothness, for a precise and safe driving sensation.
